Bark Easy Pet Grooming reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. The following are the policies and procedures of Bark Easy Pet Grooming (hereinafter referred to as BEPG).
Cancellation
BEPG requires at least 24 hours' notice of cancellation or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service total.
Because we are closed on Sundays, any Monday appointments must be canceled or rescheduled by Saturday to avoid this fee.
If we are not contacted prior to your appointment time to cancel or reschedule,, it will be considered a no-show and the full price of the missed appointment will be charged.
Appointments
Appointments are required for any grooming service. You can make an appointment by calling or texting us at 603-465-2113.
12 Week Policy
BEPG requires all dogs requiring haircuts and all dogs with long and or double coats to be kept on a grooming schedule with a maximum of 12 weeks between grooming appointment with us. At our discretion, we will require dogs to be kept on a grooming schedule with a shorter time period between grooms.
Late Drop-Off Policy
Dropping off your pet more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time will be considered a no-show and will result in a fee equal to the cost of the scheduled services and the appointment will need to be rescheduled.
Late Pick-Up Policy
BEPG requires your pet to be picked up within 1 hour of notification of completion of service unless otherwise arranged, and before closing time. Pets that are not picked up within this time frame will be subject to a boarding fee of $25 per hour within regular business hours, and $60 per hour outside of business hours. BEPG closes at 4:00 Monday - Friday and 2:00 on Saturday.
Leash Policy
BEPG requires all dogs to be on a leash while on the premises.
For the safety of all pets and people, all dogs must arrive and leave the salon on a leash, in a carrier, or under 100% physical control of their owner at all times.
Retractable leashes must be in a locked to a short length while entering and exiting the salon. Owners are responsible for maintaining control of their pets while in the lobby and parking areas.
Dogs in Heat Policy
For the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in our care, we are unable to accept dogs who are currently in heat (estrus) for grooming appointments.
Female dogs in heat can experience heightened stress and discomfort during grooming, and their presence can cause strong reactions from other dogs in the salon. To maintain a calm and safe environment for all pets, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment if your dog begins her het cycle prior to her visit.
If a dog arrives for grooming and is found to be in heat, the appointment will need to be rescheduled, and a cancellation fee may apply in accordance with our regular cancellation policy.
Large Dog Policy
At Bark Easy, we love all dogs but unfortunately can only take a limited number of certain large breed dogs. This includes:
For the large breed dogs that we do groom, we require that a regular schedule be maintained as it takes extra time and effort to groom these dogs. This makes it easier on your pet to keep them looking good, maintain a healthy coat and encourage safe behavior for grooming.
